We are close to Boston with the historic port and Stump, our centrepiece church that can be seen all over the fens! We have a market that runs every Wednesday and Saturday with the Wednesday auction on the green.
If you fancy sand rock fruit machines and chips, then Skegness is about 20 mins away with views of the North Sea and often has loads of events in the summer to amuse everyone!
Spalding with its famous flower festival is 25 min drive away, so if horticulture is your pastime, a visit is a must, the town even has its own water taxi service to and from the shopping centre!
Or perhaps you like historic buildings and churches? Well we have a wealth of them to choose from, and just down the road is Crowland abbey a great day out to explore!
If you love beer, then the Batemans Brewery at Wainfleet will keep you happy with a tour and samples of our great local beers.
If you prefer outdoors, then we have everything that you could hope for, coastal walks, nature reserves, miles of land drains to explore on foot or in a canoe, cycle tracks to pass happy hours in the fens rural countryside, fishing 2nd to none and if you bring your own boat, sailing in the North Sea!!
